The importance of daily dog walks cannot be overstated. More than 50 percent of American pets are obese. Walking is a great way for your pet to burn off excess calories and head off potential health problems.
As a trained, experienced, and skilled dog-walker, Johnny will constantly monitor your pet’s body language and scan the area for impending dangers or disturbing influences that could trigger an adverse change in your pet’s behavior.

The Importance of Good Training and Manners
Dogs that respect boundaries and behave well are able to participate in their owners’ lives in ways that aggressive and untrained dogs cannot. We understand that dogs are pack animals, and therefore need discipline and leadership to thrive and truly bond with their owners. Canine Companion and Concierge has adopted, and follows, principles and practices of rewards-based training employed by respected organizations including the East Bay Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (EB SPCA) and The Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).
All animals need mental and physical stimulation. We exercise and provide stimulation for your pet to channel their pent-up energy into healthy, beneficial outlets. These activities reduce stress, boredom, and undesirable and antisocial behaviors. This makes your pet a happier and better-behaved companion and opens new opportunities to integrate them into your lives. It also reduces the risk of having to put a pet up for adoption due to behavior issues, which is a traumatic experience for every member of a family, particularly children.
